Day 1,Arrive Addis Ababa

transfer to hotel.

Day 2,Addis Ababa city tour

City tour including the National museum (not on Mondays), Entoto Mountains for views and Trinity Cathedral, Markato Africa’s biggest open market. O.N. hotel.

Day 3,Drive to Arba Minch

After breakfast drive to Arba Minch through the Wolayta people and admiring spectacular green hills and Arba Minch (mean source of 40 springs) Overnight at Swayne’s hotel.

Day 4,NechiSar National Park

After breakfast photo safari to Nechi Sar Park situated between Chamo and Abaya Lakes. It is possible to see animals like: Swayne’s Hartebeest, Zebras, Greater and Lesser Kudu and different kinds of Gazelles and birds. Afternoon make a boat trip on Lake Chamo to visit crocodiles market for the biggest Nile crocodile, Hippopotamus, and aquatic birds. Overnight at Swayne’s hotel.

Day 5,Drive to Jinka

Early departure drive to Jinka and along the way a visit to Tsemay, Ari and Benna tribes, overnight camping at Mago National Park.

Day 6,Drive to Mursi’s villages inside the National Park

After breakfast drive to Mursi’s villages inside the National Park. The visit to this tribe is one of the best experiences of the tour. Mursi wear clay plates on lower leaps for decoration. Scars on the men’s skin represents the number of wild animals or enemies killed in battle, Dinner and overnight camping.

Day 7,Drive to Karo’s village

Drive to Karo’s village via Demaka whose Nilotic inhabitants have a majestic and athletic body. Men and women take great care of their hairstyles. This tour offers an opportunity to the travelers to enjoy traditional costumes and life style, Dinner and overnight camping at Murulle.

Day 8,Drive to Turmi

at the market place if it is possible to meet a big variety of ethnic groups. The market place is a meeting point for the exchange of goods. Turmi is the most important city of Hamer tribe. The famous bull jumping ceremony of Hamer and Benna tribes, which takes place from July to September and the first 2 weeks of Decembers must be seen. It celebrates a boy’s passage from puberty to adolescence, Dinner and overnight camping.

Day 9,Drive to Omorate

visit the Galeb and Dessanech tribes who live near Turkana Lake. They are worriers and wear a special hat similar to the lion’s mane during the traditional dances. Overnight camping at Turmi.

Day 10,Drive to Yabello visit Arbore village

The women wear handmade aluminum and seed pearls ornaments, and can pass through Weyto can visit Tsemay village and see shepherds and farmers who live in this region. After lunch visit the Konso village tribe territory who are farmers and are famous for soil terracing and proceed to Yabello. O.N at the Yabello Mobil hotel.

Day 11,Departure to Dublock

Very early departure to Dublock, a village situated in the south of Yabello, this site is famous for “El-sod” or “singing wells”; this lake water is used for animals and salt extraction. This could be one of the best experiences during the journey. O.N Yabello Mobil hotel.

Day 12,Departure to Dilla

Visit Tatu Fella and Tutiti archeological sites where we can see carved pillars showing ancient tombs, drive to Yirgalem forest where travelers can enjoy dinner and overnight at Aregash Lodge.

Day 13,Drive to Addis Ababa

After breakfast drive to Addis Ababa on the way visit Awassa fish market, Wondo Gennet and drive to the great rift valley lakes and visit Abijatta, Shalla National Park, Langano, Zway, which is known for its bird life such as Flamingos, Pelicans, Storks, Waders and many other aquatic birds. O.N hotel in Addis.

Day 14,Flight to Bahar Dar

Early morning flight to Bahar Dar and transferred to hotel. Bahr Dar - excursion on Lake Tana visiting the ancient island monasteries of Ura Kidane Mehret, Azua Mariam, Mehal Zeghe Georgis back to hotel after late lunch drive to visit the Blue Nile falls which is 35 km, after half an hour walk, via the base of the fall with the a spectacular view which the Blue Nile River fall, locally known as Tis-Issat – “Smoke of Fire”.

Day 15,Drive to Gonder

After breakfast drive to Gonder which is 180 KM from Bahir Dar former capital of Ethiopia. Sightseeing visit of King Fasiledes palaces, the open-air Bath and Debre Berhan Selassie church with its 10th century impressive paintings. Over night hotel.

Day 16,Flight to Axum

After breakfast flight to Axum is the historical and religious heart of Ethiopia and once was the capital city of the long-standing Aksumite Kingdom. The holy city of Ethiopia dating to 3000 years Back and the cradle of Ethiopian Civilization with the Aksumite Kingdom. Visit Stelae/ obelisks park, St. Mary of Zion church where the original Ark of the Covenant is said to be housed, the Museum having antiquities of the ancient Axumite kingdom, many Crowns of ancient Kings, Tomb of King Bazen, The ruin of Queen Sheba Palace, Queen of Sheba’s open air bath /Maishum/ and Overnight hotel.

Day 17,Flight to Lalibela

visit the eleven Rock-hewn churches, which is one of the eight wonders of the world. Lalibela is described by some historians as the new 'Jerusalem' & the village names after the king who initiated the construction of these churches in the 12th century.

Day 18,Fly back to Addis Ababa

shipping and have dinner in a typical local restaurant with traditional songs and dancing and departure.
